Account Deletion Request
If you wish to delete your SurgiCount AI account and all associated data, please follow the steps below. This process ensures your privacy rights are respected and your data is permanently removed from our systems.
Option 1: In-App Deletion (Recommended)
- Open the SurgiCount AI app on your device
- Log in to your account
- Navigate to Settings from the main menu
- Scroll down to the "Danger Zone" section
- Tap "Delete Account"
- Follow the confirmation prompts to permanently delete your account
Option 2: Email Request
- Send an email from your registered email address
- Include your account email and reason for deletion
- We will process your request within 7 business days
- You will receive a confirmation email once deletion is complete
⚠️ Important Notice
Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
Once you delete your account, you will lose access to:
- All surgical instrument counting sessions
- Historical analysis data
- Account settings and preferences
- Any associated images or files
Data Types Deleted
When you delete your account, the following data will be permanently removed:
- Account Information: Email address, name, authentication data
- Session Data: All surgical counting sessions and their results
- Images: Any uploaded surgical instrument photos
- Analysis Results: AI-generated counting and analysis data
- User Preferences: App settings and customizations
- Usage Analytics: App usage patterns and statistics
Data Retention Policy
Immediate Deletion (0 days retention):
- Personal account information
- User-uploaded images
- Session data and analysis results
30-day retention period:
- System logs (anonymized after 30 days)
- Backup data (permanently purged after 30 days)
